“Cycling” your modem might restore Internet access

If you can’t get access to the Internet, trying “cycling” power to your modem.  In other words, unplug the power cord from the back of the modem.  Wait about 15-seconds and then re-connect the cord to the modem.

If you’re using a router to connect multiple computers to the Internet and “cycling” power to the modem doesn’t work, then cycle power to the router.  However…  Don’t push the “reset’ button on the router; that will remove all of the settings it needs to function properly.

In either case, you’ll probably need to re-boot your computer, too.  And if none of that works, call us at 1-800-616-7888.  We’ll be happy to help
