How To Import Messages from old E-Mail Programs using Netscape 7:

  1. Open Netscape Mail
     
  2. Click on Tools and select Import.
     
  3. A screen comes up asking, Select the type of material to import.
     
  4. Select Mail and click Next.
     
  5. A screen comes up asking, Please select the program from which you would like to import.
     
  6. To import from Netscape 4.7x or Netscape 6, select Communicator 4.x and click Next.
     
  7. The mail will import and then you will see a summary screen showing the folders that were imported.
     
  8. Click Finish.
     
  9. Your imported mail should show up as a sub-folder of Local Folders, below the Inbox.
